Practice Description:

Dr. Hanson works with adults and couples to:

• Overcome anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, stress, the impact of addiction

• Adjust to life transitions such as: divorce/separation, becoming parents, empty nest, relocation, job changes, young adults leaving home/school and living independently

• Build deeper intimacy, trust, communication, understanding

Bio:

Dr. Hanson began working with children and families in 1991 and transitioned to working exclusively with adults and couples after beginning her private practice in 1996. Dr. Hanson deeply respects the process of counseling and the counseling relationship, fueling her desire to continuously learn and grow as a practitioner. This includes her own training as well as training those coming into the field behind her. She currently supervises newly credentialed MA level therapists, teaches BA psychology students at Argosy University in Seattle, and is planning on bringing MA level practicum students into her practice.
